Life under the "Che" sign
Cuba, 2010Living under the "Che" sign I lived on Cuba as a kid for 8 months. 23 years later I found myself back on the island, in cuban city of Santa Clara, at the Che Guevara’s square. While taking a photo of a juxtaposition of a huge sign and small houses behind it, I was noticed by a local girl, who called me over. As I came to her, she invited me into her house. Before entering it, I suggested to take a photo of her in front of it. And suddenly we were swamped by the sea of adorable kids and curious locals. They circled me and opened their lives to me. Here are the results of that improvised November meeting of 2010. |
